Well, what should we add here? --Gtcaz 20:55, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- I think it should be adlib then categorized. ngungo
Anything you'd like to add is great, especially now in the beginning stages. We'll reorganize when it is necessary.
I'd suggest that we put a little of our own background on the whole Textdrive thing - how we got involved, why we bother to stay, what keeps us up at night, our favorite chocolate candy bar, etc...
Then start building out the lines of thought on administration, forum use and abuse and so on. SaintNick
- The logo looks official and informative. ngungo

i manually added a pseudo-"{{talkheader}}" to this page and i linked to the wikipedia since they already have good wiki editing guidelines in place - i'm not interested in re-inventing the wheel. i'm guessing there is more than one TxD'r that has zero wiki editing experience. on that note, to all the initial go-getters, let's make sure to liberally add clues to this wiki that will help less experienced folks. this will go a long way towards insuring that there will be minimal maintenance that needs to be done cleaning-up entries. Preliminary Structure
here's a first stab at an initial structure:
TextDrive TextDriveNewbies TextDriveSetup Django Installing Django 0.95 TextDriveEmail Joyent JoyentNewbies JoyentSetup JoyentEmail SiteImprovements
How about Strongspace - Backup and Resinc Ngungo 20:42, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- and Bingo, done (main sections added)

We need to remember to maintain a difference between shared and container hosting. I think most pages by default are explicitly for shared, while a duplicate page would have "(Container)" in the title. For example: Installing Django 0.95 and Installing Django 0.95 (Container) SuperJared 20:53, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- i think it might be helpful to have distinct shared hosting and container hosting sections.
TextDrive Shared Hosting TxdSharedNewbies - resources to help with the fundamentals TxdSharedSetup - how to setup Django, Rails, etc. TxdSharedEmail - how email works at TextDrive Container (VPS) Hosting ContainerNewbies - resources to help with the fundamentals ContainerSetup - how to setup Django, Rails, etc. ContainerEmail - how email works at TextDrive
- any thoughts on this?

- any thoughts on this?
SuperJared, please delete TextDriveSetup
- maybe some additional folks should get sysop privs at least in the beginning while we hammer out the rough shape?
