TextUsers, the Unofficial TextDrive & Joyent Wiki

This Wiki was created for the TextDrive community to share information about using TextDrive and Joyent services.

While the wiki is intended for the TextDrive audience, it is not limited to topics of TextDrive hosting. For example, it might be prudent to have a page explaining how one set his computer up with Lighttpd and RoR.

Wiki Registration

Standard MediaWiki registration has been reinstated due to problems relying on emails coming from TextDrive servers. If you have issues with your account, contact Jared at jared {dot} kuolt {at} gmail or Robert at robert {at} simplicio |dot| com.

Anybody may view the contents of this wiki. However, one must be logged in to make changes. ~~To combat spam we've disabled simple account creation. If you would like an account, please make a request here.~~

Also, spammers and bots beware, administrators regularly review changes made and have no qualms about banning you.

How to help

We have started a page of resouces that currently exist in other forms, that should be converted to the Wiki so that they are easier to find.

You can help by adding resources you know of that would be helpful to the community, or donating your time to condense and format these outside resources so that they are included in the Wiki. This page is called Wikitize.

Identify Spammers & Vandals

If you find a Spammer or Vandal, please make a note of it on the Spaminator page. Robert will monitor this page and be e-mailed whenever a change is made so that the offending party can be dealt with swiftly. You can also have a little fun by putting [[Image:Spam.jpg]] in their user page or user talk page.
